Incidental Landscapes: Part 4 of 6

Set two of my travel images are ones that I stop and take my time for and take with my Nikon D750 usually equipped with my main stay working lens, my Sigma 24mm Art lens.   I love this outfit and for the moment, I am happy enough with the end results that I get from it.  Using a prime lens is a vastly different processing experience to using a zoom.  You must get yourself in the right position for your subject to work within the focal range that the prime lens will allow.  You cannot just zoom in a bit more or out a bit more.  With regular use you begin to get familiar with the elements of a scene will or will not work with the set-up.  I will also bring out my tripod. I have a Manfrotto travel tripod which Is my little work horse.  This a remarkably sturdy and versatile piece of essential equipment and it lives in my camera bag at all times.
